Introspection At the beginning of 2025, I set myself the challenge of dedicating part of my free time to creating small open source projects to fuel what I like to call my obsessions.
It’s an opportunity to delve deeper into certain topics that I don’t have time to explore in my daily work and also an opportunity to code for pleasure.
I’ve been working in tech for over 10 years, and out of laziness and partly due to impostor syndrome, I’ve never really invested in open source even though, paradoxically, I’ve always been fascinated by this idea and those who embody it.
In short, it was time to change that.
So I took the plunge and devoted quite a bit of time to different projects around TPMs1:
tpm-pills tpm-ca-certificates tpm-trust Note I’ll probably discuss these projects in more detail in future articles.
I must admit that it’s quite difficult to find motivation when you have a job and family life, however, I set myself the rule to never force myself to work on these projects. Indeed, I wanted it to remain a pleasure and not a constraint.
To my great surprise, the projects started to come to life and attract the attention of some people who found them interesting. That’s why I decided to step out of my comfort zone and share my experiences through this blog and hopefully, participate as a speaker at conferences.
Why this blog? This blog will mainly be technical content where I’ll share my experiences, discoveries, and reflections on topics that I find interesting.
To be honest, I think deep down I’m writing mainly for myself2, but I hope it can also be useful to others…
Trusted Platform Module ↩︎
It will be fun to look back at these articles in a few years and see how my thoughts and skills have evolved. ↩︎

https://words.lsikidi.com/posts/000-my-first-post/

Introspection

At the beginning of 2025, I set myself the challenge of dedicating part of my free time to creating small open source projects to fuel what I like to call my obsessions.

Why I'm creating a personal blog?"}]
